Mr Warren Buffett, THE ORACLE OF OMAHA!

Mr Warren Buffett is Chairman and CEO of BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY. How did this self-made Billionaire begin and what strategies propelled him to such phenomenal success? Born on August 30, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr Buffett displayed a knack for numbers at a tender age. At 11 years of age, he made his first Stock purchase. He bought three Shares of CITIES SERVICE PREFERRED for $38 each. The Stock dropped to $27 but, Mr Buffett held on to it, he sold it when it rebounded to $40. This experience taught him a crucial lesson about patience, a cornerstone of his investment philosophy. As a teenager, Mr Buffett delivered Newspapers, sold chewing gum and operated pinball machines in local Barber shops. At 16 years, he amassed savings of about $5,000- a considerable sum in the, 1940s. He attended the University of Nebraska, graduating at 19 years of age, with a Degree in Business. He later enrolled at Columbia Business School, where he studied under, Mr Benjamin Graham, the father of value investing. Mr Graham's teachings profoundly shaped his approach to investing. Mr Graham's concept of buying undervalued Stocks-those trading below their value- became the bedrock of, Mr Buffett's strategy, with emphasis to invest with a margin of safety to minimise risk. Mr Buffett returned to Omaha in mid, 1950s where he established BUFFETT PARTNERSHIP Ltd. At 30 years of age, he had accumulated a personal fortune of over $1Million. In 1962, he began purchasing Shares in a struggling Textile Company called, BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY. The textile business failed. He transformed Berkshire Hathaway into a diversified Holding Company. Today, it's a Conglomerate with significant stakes in Companies like, Coca-Cola, American Express and Apple. Mr Buffett's primary strategy is identifying undervalued Companies with strong fundamentals, unlike many Investors who seek quick gains. Mr Buffett takes long-term approach.
